What you will do:

  • Own product strategy, lead product development efforts, and contribute to the growth of the business.

  • Plan product roadmaps and define product features.

  • Provide direction in product development and operational support/execution while engaging at a necessary technical level to guide delivery.

  • Work with senior leadership and product engineering teams to implement new products or features.

  • Be a subject matter expert on the product's business and determine competitive landscape.

  • Serve as the product representative to Finance, Marketing, Sales, Support, and other teams within Rackspace.

  • Serve as the product representative to customers in determining needs, Product planning, and communicating value propositions.


  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven product management experience delivering innovative high-tech products or services, typically demonstrated in candidates with 3-7 years of experience.

  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to understand the product, competitive landscape, and our business in order to build and execute comprehensive product strategies.

  • A sense of ownership and willingness roll your sleeves up to accomplish whatever is necessary.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing industry highly preferred.
