Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a bright, highly motivated, self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the Rackspace Mid-Market Acquisition team. This position's primary responsibilities include responding to sales leads, developing qualified leads through targeted outbound calling and closing business. The person must have superior follow up skills, the ability to respond under pressure, work to a monthly target and be able to effectively communicate over the phone, through email and face-to-face.
A minimum of 5 years successful on target New Business sales experience, incorporating value/service selling to larger accounts (£100m-£1bn turnover). C-level engagement.
Professional Sales training and sales process knowledge.
Sales experience in a technology related industry preferred
B2B Sales experience
Strong communication and written skills
Goal oriented, with a superior work ethic.

Meet and exceed monthly sales quota with extremely competitive commission earnings potential.
Work to strict SLA’s around lead follow up.
Effective CRM management, including updates, deal reviews and handover notes.
Responsible for full sales cycle from lead to close.
Proven territory development skills. Must be able to generate and qualify excellent customer leads.
Effective management of own time.
Management of the quality of overall deliverables including peer review of other’s output.
Work closely with Sales Engineers to perform feasibility assessments of how well Rackspace solutions meet the customer requirements and what customisation would be required.
