Rackpace is looking for their next Fanatical Salesforce.com Administrator! The Salesforce.com Administrator's primary responsibilities are to:

  • Perform general administration of Salesforce.com products.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot application related issues.

  • Assist users with Salesforce issues and needs.

  • Monitor and respond to the Case queue of support and help requests.

  • Provide bookings support and bookings data validation to multiple sales, commissions and reporting teams.

  • Ensure bookings capabilities for all products and services and maintains bookings data integrity through audits and enforcement of established bookings rules.

  • Maintain general Salesforce.com data integrity and assists in closing and reporting sales numbers on a monthly basis; this includes system audits, review of compensation plans, and various month close activities.

In a typical day, a Salesforce.com Admin:

  • Performs all tasks directly related to the maintenance and administration of Salesforce products with advanced knowledge of Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity and Forecast objects.

  • Manages ongoing support requests and administrative needs of Salesforce users.

  • Develops reports, dashboards and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.

  • Provides technical support and troubleshoots application related issues.

  • Escalates technical/programming issues to IT Systems team for resolution.

  • Develops and delivers Salesforce.com training to employees and serves as the primary contact for the tool.

  • Leads knowledge and support, and proactively meets with management of sales and sales related departments to determine system improvements, data quality improvement, and process improvement as it relates to bookings procedures for current and new products.

  • Reviews bookings procedures and determines and implements improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Assists with audits to protect data integrity and enforcement of bookings and de-bookings rules.

  • Works in a team environment to establish best practices.

  • Serves as an escalation point for lower level administrators.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4 - 6 years experience in systems support including a minimum of 3 years of Salesforce administration experience required.

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or Developer required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce tool usage and capabilities.

  • Strong knowledge of the sales function and process, bookings rules, and the use of Salesforce as a tool in sales tracking.

  • Excellent ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot user issues.

  • Light configuration (users, hierarchies, skills/configuration in Live Agent, field updates, new fields, page layouts, etc.).

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce data management toolsets (Data Loader, DemandTools, etc.).

  • Strong communication (written and oral), problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Customer centric mindset, with the ability to interface with teams on a daily basis.

  • Excellent knowledge of the native Salesforce reporting and dashboarding functions, including Custom Report Types.

  • Advanced ability to analyze processes and transform into system functionality.

  • Strong understanding of sales bookings procedures as well as ability to work with internal sales teams and leaders to establish appropriate bookings procedures for new products.

  • Ability to provide training to peers and tool users.

  • Ability to identify training gaps and develop training content.

  • Ability to lead and coach others through resolution of more technical questions and problems.
