Rackspace is looking for Software Test Engineers (STE) to join our Quality Engineering Organization. As a STE,you will be given the responsibility of designing, writing, and executing tests (both manual and automated) forour Oracle EBS team.

This position is based in San Antonio, although, consideration will be given for exceptional remote candidates.
Writes and executes automated test scripts using a pre-defined, off-the-shelf test framework like HP UFT or Oracle OATS
Writes and executes manual test scripts as required
Writes positive and negative smoke and regression tests to test product functionality and integration with dependencies
Participates in design reviews and offers insight regarding potential issues with the design. Creates test strategies and schedules based on final design.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
At least 6 years of experience as a black box tester with 1-2 years of test automation experience.
6+yrs experience as with Oracle EBS
5+ yrs of Exp. Oracle E-Bus Suite R12 (QE Testing)
Experience with 3rd party vendor integrations (Bank Institutions)
Understanding of Procure to Pay processes, Order to Cash and Record to report processes and components involved for testing
Understand of sub ledger accounting and accounting flow
Testing experience with Punch-out Technology
Experience with Oracle Financials modules
Strong knowledge of a UI automation tool such as HP UFT or Oracle OATS
Ability to create technical documentation
Knowledge of the agile development process (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective
Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts
Knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
Strong attention to detail; written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills; and, time management skills
Basic understanding of software/testing methodologies such as TDD
Basic understanding of JAVA programming
Experience with Agile development processes such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.
