Rackspace is looking for a Sr. Marketing Analyst to join our team. As a Sr. Marketing Analyst, you will work to support Marketing by providing data analysis and reporting. In this role, you will work to identify trends in data and present findings, key insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Our Sr. Marketing Analysts track marketing plan effectivness, identify areas where efficiences can be gained in reporting and marketing opportunties. Analyzes marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes.To be a Racker is all about Fanatical Support, the results obsessed customer service that's been at the core of Rackspace since 1999. JOB COMPLEXITY:

  • Prepares moderately complex reports utilizing unique data sets.

  • Works with the business to determine data sets needed for reporting purposes and ensures queries return relevant data sets.

  • Validates data integrity.

  • Modifies reporting tools to run routine and custom reports.

  • Designs and participates in implementation, Q/A, and validation of data, software, or procedural changes.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs system and/or data errors.

  • Responsible for reporting, analyzing, and making recommendations on marketing initiatives, with particular focus on CRM channels.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.

  • Gather actionable data from various sources to ensure consistent and continual optimization of marketing campaigns.

  • Generate reports to assist with CRM planning and forecasting.

  • Assemble and prepare historic sales, pipeline, and lead reports, as well as future projection data, by relevant market segment.

  • Provide industry benchmark analyses to identify business opportunities.

  • Support the analytic needs of the business by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, LivePerson, SalesForce, and Eyeblaster.

  • Collaborate with external partners, such as agencies to assist with data collection and reporting.

  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team.

  • Lead driving core insights from the data to suggest, create, and execute multivariate or A/B/C tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience.

  • Look at visitor behavior on Rackspace.com from a variety of traffic sources and helps us optimize the site to harvest the most new business opportunities.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or related field required.

  • 5+ years of related experience.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing, data sets, data requirements, data integrity rules, and data reporting.

  • Advanced skills in publishing regular updates on data requirements and trends.

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of data mining tools and database software packages. Expert Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of market, customer, and competitor trends.

  • Advanced skills in tracking plan effectiveness.

  • Proficient in clickstream tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, LivePerson, SalesForce, and Eyeblaster.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. strong presentation skills. ability to apply knowledge and best practices to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.

  • Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand.

  • Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.

  • Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
