Overview & Responsibilities
JOB TITLE: Sales Enablement Program Manager IV
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Leads Sales Enablement Onboarding and/or Ongoing Sales Training and Enablement Programs for Rackspace Sales Academy (RSA) from start to finish. Coordinates with key stakeholders on strategy and execution of all RSA programs. Inspires confidence in the team, senior management, and the business community implementing the solutions aligned with the overall company goals. Leads efforts to improve existing processes or programs and designs new systems or processes as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Expert level knowledge of coordinating and monitoring Sales Training and Enablement projects/programs, from initiation through delivery. Expert level knowledge of all areas of sales and business operations and organizational interactions. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills. Trained in sales and project methodologies or comparable industry experience. Experienced in development of Sales Training and Enablement project/program planning elements, to include scheduling, resourcing, communication, and implementation of plans. Financial skills to develop, track and report on the project budget. Ability to develop, maintain, and report on schedules . Expert understanding of risk analysis, project reporting, and tracking. Experience with industry-recognized project management methodologies and tools. Ability to manage matrixed project/program teams in diverse environments. Proficient with MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. Creative thinking and the ability to ‘think outside the box’ are ESSENTIAL. Ability to communicate business and technical info and ideas so others will understand. Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.
JOB COMPLEXITY: Planning and execution of a dedicated program or multiple projects of the highest complexity. Reviewing and fully understanding all program/project requirements (business and technical). Collaborating with internal stakeholders as well as coordinating across functions, internally and externally, to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Developing and documenting business processes. Evaluating business processes and identifying areas where efficiencies may be gained. Developing and implementing solutions to gain efficiencies.
SUPERVISION: Operates independently with overall results appraised largely on the effective and efficient attainment of goals. May provide work direction to individual contributors.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field, AND at least 10 years of project/program management experience is required. Relevant industry, training and/or sales enablement experience is highly desired. Project certification a plus (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: General office environment. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. Moderate levels of stress may occur at times. No special physical demands required. Occasional domestic travel, less than 10%.
